How To Become an IAS officer?
IAS is the top most public sector job in India. An IAS is considered next to God in India as an IAS is like a king in this country. The students goes through a lot of preparation for achieving the target some achieve and some not.
Is is the most prestigious exam that is held in our country and it is perceived to be the toughest exam in the whole world as it is ranked as the second toughest exam of the world.This exam used to assess the overall personality of a being and test whether he will be able to administer or not.The Civil service exam is challenging and demanding as it requires from a candidate full dedication to achieve his ultimate goal that is IAS.
The best way to prepare for civil services is from your secondary education but if you haven't do so it's never late to start again so you can go through the extreme preparation phase.
The best ways to prepare for civil services is to:
1. Go through NCERT books.
2. Should read a national newspaper daily(e.g. The Hindu and have a habit of making notes of the important points).
3. Should read a monthly magazine(e.g The Frontline).
4. Choose the subjects effectively(as choosing the subject is somewhat a tedious task but I have given a description of choosing a subject in my next blog).
5. Go through previous year paper.
6. The last but the best way is to join some sort of coaching if feasible.
One of the important aspect of this exam is its vast syllabus which a candidate has to finish in a limited time having depth as well as conceptual base.
Success in civil services Examination is a result of proper preparation and making use of the knowledge accumulated over years. As a candidate when you will start preparing for Civil services be aware of its standard,level of preparedness required and the tough competition you are going to face.
If you have to achieve something big in your life then you have to make sacrifice, so be ready to make sacrifices in order to give more time to study and be devoted to this exam if you want to pass it with flying colors.
